A woman that truly gives....#OmonikeAraba

You give but a little when you give of your possessions, it is when you give of yourself that you truly give.  In the past week, I was honored to "beat the face" of a #woman I truly #admire. She is an example of someone who lives beyond self and gives her best. A #leader, a #coach, a #motivator and a #minister to name a few.

+Omonike Araba  an alumni of the #UniversityofPennsylvania with a degree in Systems' Engineering is our focal point this week.

Every summer, Omonike who happens to be the Minister-in-charge of RCCG Living Spring Children's Department, with the unwavering support of volunteers, organizes a one-week teenager's convention in the Tri-state area.

As simple as that may sound, the logistics & planning solely rest on her.  Her total commitment to the success of the program and the children's department at large, is truly worthy of praise and emulation.  Over the years, the program has grown beyond measures and now sponsors over a hundred teenagers.  To me, her selflessness is amazing especially with the fact that no teenager is left behind due to lack of sponsorship.

In addition, she volunteers her time to assist high school students in preparing for their SAT exams. She sets out the time to teach and mentor these teenagers.....

She is such a joy to be around and what makes her stand out, is the passion she brings to the table.  She is influential, highly optimistic and energetic. During the makeover, she made a confession to me.  That confession will be published in part 2 series of the makeover....stay tuned!!

Kindly join me in celebrating this iconic woman, +Omonike Araba a mentor to innumerable teenagers, most of whom are young adults and professionals now.
